Rory received his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. During law school, Rory was a summer associate at a Providence law firm and spent time as an intern with the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office. Rory also holds an MBA from Salve Regina University.
Prior to law school, Rory was a senior accountant at Piccerelli, Gilstein & Company, an accounting firm in Providence where he provided both tax and assurance services. At Piccerelli, Rory assisted clients on various engagements, including estate planning, tax planning for high net worth individuals, the preparation of tax returns for pass-through business entities, multi-state filers, and various private businesses. On the assurance side, Rory led audit and review engagements for several clients in the private and non-profit sectors where he worked closely with client management teams.
Rory is also an active member of his community where he serves as a member of the South Kingstown Town Council. Currently serving his third term on the Town Council, Rory is the Town Council President.
